The summer house is just 2 minutes walk from Skagen Harbour, and there is only 500 meters to the child-friendly Sønder Strand and Vippefyret. The house is within walking distance to the pedestrian zone and shopping area. This is also where you find a large playground and skate park for both younger and older kids. And of course, Skagen offers plenty of restaurant options, live music and entertainment.
You will stay in a classic “Skagen House”, but with modern comforts. The summer house was gently renovated in 2006, and is perfect for a family of 4-6 persons. You will get 2 sleeping areas: a loft with a double bed, and a room with a bunk bed (sleeps 2). You will also find a large kitchen and living room (incl. a sofa bed), TV, fire place and bathroom with washing machine.
A large wooden terrace with sun all day is probably the best thing about the house, though. A BBQ and garden furnitures comes with the rent, so your holiday can be enjoyed both inside and outside.
The house is non-smoking, and pets are not allowed.
It is possible to rent a baby cot, highchair and changing table upon request.
High Season (May, 30th - Aug, 31st): DKK 7,000 per per week + utilities
Low Season (rest of the year): DKK 4,500 per week + utilities

What to experience in Skagen:
Skagen is known for its distinctive nature, its fine yellow Skagen houses, the sanded church and the beautiful beaches. There is plenty of options for guided tours eg.: Go mushroom hunting, explore the bunkers in the dunes at Sønderstrand, Visit Denmark's version of the Sahara: Råbjerg Mile
Experience the meeting of two oceans at Grenen… the possibilities are many.
The town is especially known for its Skagen painters: P. S. Krøyer, Anna Ancher and Michael Ancher. You can see the paintings and know more about these at the Skagen Museum.
Skagen is also known for its fishing port and for the Skagen Festival. The town offers many cozy eateries offering delicious dishes made from locally sourced freshly caugh fish.
If you are into gourmet food, do try “Ruths Hotel” and Brøndums hotel”, which are amongst Norther Jutland’s finest restaurants. “Restaurant De 2 Have” and “Hjorths Hotel” are also good options.
