Family summer house with panoramic sea view north of Løkken


What characterizes our summer house best is the fantastic view from the whole house - and the largest terrace - over the North Sea. You can see - and hear the sea - from every room except one! At the dining table, guests always have a seat facing the sea :-)
The house is a black wooden house with white windows and a new black roofing felt roof. The house is located in Nr. Lyngby on a quiet cul-de-sac just 100m from a direct descent to the beach. The beach has the finest sand - and with firm sand at the water's edge, suitable for jogging.
The beach is characterized by being one of Denmark's most distinctive coastal profiles, the steep dunes in the 15 km long Lønstrup Klint. There are 4 km along the beach to Rubjerg Knude with the lighthouse which is from the 1900s. (see picture) The lighthouse is filling up with sand due to sand drift, and in spring 2020 moved approx. 80 m away from the slope. A little further north you will find the remains of Mårup Church from the 13th century. From the approx. 90 m at the cliff's highest point, Rubjerg Knude, there is a magnificent view.
Nr. Lyngby is located between Løkken and Lønstrup, two well-known seaside towns with their own charm. In Løkken you will find attractions for all ages: Action House with go-karts, laser games, bowling etc. and golf courses. In Lønstrup you will find coziness, many artisans and lots of charm – and good restaurants for every budget.
The core of the summer house is the cozy living room where you stay - when you can't be outside in the approx. 100 m2 large wooden terrace (from June 2020) that surrounds the house. The morning can be good on one side of the house, but the sunset is best from the sea side of the terrace. We've had some fantastic times here - both in nice and bad weather!
The house appears as a simple and modern Danish summer house. It has been continuously renovated since we took it over in 2001. Most recently, in the spring of 2022, a new kitchen (cooking island) as well as a living room and new wooden floors were made throughout the house. The kitchen is well equipped and also includes a dishwasher and Quooker.
The three rooms contain two ¾ beds and a double bed. There is also a wood stove, heat pump and washing machine. The house is suitable for 4 adults and two children, we have also been 6 adults and two children - but then it gets a bit close if we can't be out that much. There is a sandbox and high baby chair.
