Below are a list of six good questions you can ask the home owner, before renting his/hers vacation home.
1. Ask about the location. (Is the area quiet?, What are the options for shopping?, Is there a lot of traffic in the area?, Is there a childrens playground on the property?, etc.)
2. The advert may contain typos or other erros. You should therefore confirm any details that are especially important to you. (I.e Does the house have an Internet connection?, Does the house have 3 bedrooms?, etc.)
3. Confirm the price.
4. Confirm how post-rent cleaning is handled. Is this included in the price, can it be purchased as an add-on or can you do it yourself.
5. Confirm whether electricity, water usage, etc. is included in the price. Ask if there are any other additional costs you should be aware of.
6. Confirm what you need to bring with you. (Towels?, Bed linen?, soap?, etc)
