Knokgaard is a big country house on 455 m2 which is built in 1918 and
renovated in 1997 to a holiday country house with rooms for 22 persons.

The place is delightfully standing on a lovely big ground in quiet
surroundings on the Limfjord, island Mors, the island which contain allmost
all Denmarks typical landscapes.

The country house is existing of the main house in 2 floors and the
poolhouse. (The owner lives some of the year in a separate flat on the
place.) The main house has 2 living rooms, a big patio, kitchen/family
room, 5 rooms and 2 bathrooms. There is 2 cribs, 2 high chairs and changing table for provide. The poolhouse contain a big activity room including billiards,
table tennis, table football and darts. Furthermore there is 4 rooms, 2
bathrooms, a 28 m2 swimmingpool, sauna and jacuzzi. The house is installed
with 2 televisions (video in the main building), 2 satellites and 2 stereo
equipments, so children and adults can see/hear the program they want.

There is internet admission (from 2007) which can be used free.

Besides the patio there is 2 terraces with garden furniture and outdoor
grill, swings and sandbox for the little once. There is pentanque ground,
football ground, volleyball court and a place for bonfire.

The country house is a perfect starting point to experience the lovely
Limfjord island, not at least the excellent possibilities for yachting,
windsurfing, angling and cycling. The islands beautiful nature is proberly
best suitable to be exlored by foot or on bicycle, here is the distance
short and the country very suitable for bicycles.

It is also a possibility to visit one of the many attractions which is in
the surrounding country, for example resort Jesperhus and holiday center,
with over 1 million flowers, terrarium, tropical aquarium, bird zoo,
butterfly land, indoor water complex and playground for children in all age
levels.

Around the island there are many possibilities for fishing, there is a
put-and-take lake in the neighbourhood, and there are 2 golf links inside a
distance of 15 km and 5 inside 30 km.



The north island is with its rear moler cliff with stribes of volcanic
ashes one of the most individual places in Denmark, and there is good
possibilities to do your own fossil-finds along the islands north coast.

Many places along the coast is there a sandy beach – low water and
child-friendly.

Under “sight” there is a describtion of bathing beach on the island and
the nearest North Sea beach.

Nykøbing town with harbour environment all into the town is a visit worth,
here is there a lot of purchase possibilities.

The North Sea is lesser than 30 min. from the house, so if the weather is
good for a trip to the sea, this is also possible.
