Beautiful Holiday Home in Asnæs near the child-friendly Høve Beach, Denmark

A few years ago, I fulfilled a 25-year-old dream: I bougt a beautiful holiday home only 400 m from Høve Beach, 2 km from Asnæs, Denmark. As I live in Bavaria, I am not able to spend a lot of time in the house, and therefore I have decided to rent out the house privately for a few weeks every year.

As an expatriot I have made a particular point of equipping my house with everything one needs to feel at home away from home, such as international TV-channels, internet, washing machine, dishwasher and microwawe. I am very happy to be able to offer this comfort.

The house, which is suitable for 6 guests, has two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with 2 single beds. Both bedrooms have wardrobes. The last two beds, which are best suited for children, are found in the cozy alcove.

The spacious open-concept kitchen, living- and dining room ensures that the happy holiday atmosphere is maintained during cooking. The house has a woodburning stove as well as a heat pump, which ensure a pleasant interior climate as well as low utility costs.

The terrace is partially open and partially covered. There is 1200 m² natural grounds with a barbeque, garden furniture and a hammock.

There is a pathway leading directly to the child-friendly sandy beach and in less than 10 minutes‘ walk, you can enjoy a beautiful view of Sejerø Bay.

There are several family activities nearby, such as Zealand Summerland with a mini land, action land and a swimming pool, the Odsherred Zoo and the Fire Engine Museum in Asnæs. You can even join a seal safari in the small harbour of Rørvig, where the children can also spend time catching crabs.

If you wish to go on nature hikes, the UNESCO Global Geopark Odsherred is the perfect place with numerous beautiful hiking paths, such as the “Højderygstien”. Golf and tennis court are also available in the area.

The impressive Dragsholm castle from the 13th century is said to be haunted by the white lady. The castle has a stunning view over the Bay of Nekelø, and you may experience culinary highlights with regional products here.

Good shopping options, a nice pedestrian zone, supermarkets and cafes are available in Nykobing Zealand. The town is also known for a number of interesting art galleries.
